Early this year our house went under a renovation. Everything was such a mess, I almost lost temper at the inconvenience of having had to cross a plank to get from one side of the house to the other. We had to create a make-shift dining area and allow the whole family to fit in one room since the adjoining rooms were affected by the overhaul.
After 3 months of resisting the urge to go ballistic, our house survived its second face-lift. As the saying goes, no pain, no gain.
Yesterday, a very good friend's sister whose salon I helped in redecorating, invited me at her house warming party. Hers had just recently underwent a renovation too and it looked a completely new house.
Photos below.
The foyer - faces of Confucius rests on the wooden plank.
Living area. A mismatched sofa set is set to be replaced to harmonize with the house's theme of modern oriental.
Dining area with the eight-seater dining table.
Powder room that has a really chic sink.
