Movie Mesh: Mamma Mia
The reviews for “Mamma Mia!” may be mixed, but the film version of the Broadway musical is a smashing mash-up of design ideas. At Casa Donna, the Grecian getaway where the breezy summer romance unfolds, the clotheslines and guest rooms are dressed in fabulous fabrics: bold florals, sun-faded stripes, bright folk patterns and embroidery from the Mediterranean and points east. In this scene, Donna Sheridan (Meryl Streep, left) has a mother-daughter chat with Sophie (Amanda Seyfried).

Prints at his Hollywood at Home store include a blue and red Kashmir paisley for $116 per yard and the medallion rug-inspired Samarkand for $123 per yard, both 100% linen. 636 N. This fabric reminds us of the paisley ensemble from Rhett Eala we wore during our visit in the summer capital of the Philippines.
