Brangelina's $40,000 Rented Berlin Home

People reports Brad, Angelina and their well-traveled bunch -- Maddox, 7, Pax, 4, Zahara, 3, Shiloh, 2, and 2-month-old twins Vivienne and Knox -- arrived in Berlin on Tuesday afternoon on a private plane, with plans to settle into the sprawling Palais Parkschloss, located south of the city on the picturesque (we're assuming) Wannsee lake.

The family is in Germany so the actor can play war for Quentin Tarantino in "Inglorious Bastards," which boasts an oddball cast that includes Mike Myers, Diane Kruger and "Hostel" director Eli Roth (Brad was snapped meeting with the filmmaker and some of his cast mates on Wednesday night).

The amenities at the Jolie-Pitts' new pad should help ease their transition from France. Not only will the kids have 30,000 square feet to run around in (our suggestion: outfit them with GPS devices), but the compound also has a helicopter pad, boat dock and private chef.

According to the German newspaper Bild, 14 security guards will patrol the already-well-fortified property, which was reportedly leased in years past by both Tom Cruise and Steven Seagal (the portly onetime action star was accused of damaging the property). Word is, the residence rents for about $40,000 a month. -via msn
