Philippine showbiz columnist Aster Amoyo has sought the help of Vice President Noli de Castro in filing a class suit in HLURB (Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board) against Rose Flaminiano. The suit was filed alongside local actresses Aubrey Miles, Maui Taylor and Ara Mina.
Rose Flaminiano, manager of another local artist Gabby Concepcion, owns RALF Realty and Management Corporation. RALF stands as a developer of Rosmont Executive Villas in Tarlac City. Aster Amoyo served as its PR when it was launched. Aubrey, Maui, Ara, Judy Ann Santos and late celebrity Rudy Fernandez were its endorsers.
The case covers, Rose Flaminiano's alleged use of the names of Aster, Aubrey, Maui and Ara without their knowledge to be able to get a housing loan in PAG-IBIG. Rose Flaminiano was able to get the money but placed the actresses' names alongside Aster's in jeopardy. This has left the four media personalities with government housing debt. Adding insult to injury, Aster, Aubrey, Ara and Maui didn't gain a single penny from the alleged transaction.
