She was chosen from among thousands applicants as a winner of the One to Watch competition.

My prize money... is going to be such a fantastic help! I am hoping to start my own bespoke wallpaper design business. I'll put a little money aside to treat myself. A local auction house has a modern design sale coming up, so hopefully I'll pick up a little design treasure.
I became a wallpaper designer... because I love the sheer scale that you have to work with. Furniture and fabrics can be quite restricting.
Before this... I was working in a sweet shop during university. The worst was definitely doing the night shift in a food label factory. Not very glamorous!
My greatest inspiration... is the natural world around me. I grew up in the Norfolk countryside and have always been fascinated with birds. I like to design with the smaller varieties, although larger game birds have a comical look, which really appeals to me.
My favourite design is... my tiger print. The penny dropped when I created this. It was a defining moment in my career; a point when I thought, this is definitely what I want to do.
I want people to react to my work… with a smile. They’re meant to be bold and fun.
