There are a lot of ways to decorate small spaces. One key rule is to place mirrors. Other tips are to use colors of lighter shades, use shiny accessories (i.e. shiny door or cabinet handles), and correctly positioning your furniture or scaling them.

One of our readers, Henry Enriquez, is kind enough to share with us his 323 square-ft (or 30sqm) space condo unit in Ortigas, Manila, Philippines that screams of small space-big ideas!

He purchased his unit back in 2006 and was turned over last November 2009. Along with that started the construction of his interiors which took seven weeks.

An overview of the construction:
Week 1: November 25, 2009
I got my keys to my unit. Start of construction.
Mobilization, kitchen cabinet, wardrobe cabinet.

Week 2: December 3, 2009 - Week 2 of construction
Finalized shelvings for kitchen cabinet, wardrobe cabinet. Start construction of bed, work table, lavatory cabinet and wall design.

Week 3: December 9, 2009 - Week 3 of construction kitchen wall partition, entertainment console/cabinet, recessed ceiling, pull-out bed, computer table.
After 7 weeks, his bachelor pad is transformed to this:
