Ancestral houses abound in Laguna. Some ancestral houses have maintained its original facade and interiors while others, sadly, have been totally demolished to make way for a new modern house. This house in Magdalena, Laguna has been modified but retained its old world feel from the sliding capiz windows, clerestory, *sectional sofas, narra dining sets and a plethora of other 19th century furnishings as this was built in 1898.

* Watch out for our first ever contest sponsored by CSN stores as this blog turns three years old in June. Keep a look out for our contest rules and mechanics in the next few days. This will be exciting!
