Taking Gifting to the Next Level

Invaluable and priceless are two attributes of a great gift. The love and creativity that has been put to it should be the defining factors or measurements of a great gift. However mostly true, a gift's value also does not depend on the effort of making one. It can be really simple but still heartwarming because of the thoughtfulness and the inspiration behind it.

The best gifts are often those that have the personal touch thus reflects the character of the giver. Planning should be put first into gift making. A Christmas list always come in handy. The gift can entirely depend on the recipient - his/her personality.

Let us celebrate the spirit of Christmas this year with our loved ones by surprising them with a gift that is unique and personal at the same time. SM puts us into the holiday spirit by answering these questions (answers after the jump):

  • What is your Christmas wish list for yourself?
  • What are your Christmas gift ideas for your loved ones this year?
  • How do you plan to give back to others this Christmas?
I believe that we are the reflection of each other so I am going to answer the questions above in one go. Here it is:

My grown-up Christmas wish would be the eradication of poverty in the Philippines.

  • I wish that every Filipino would be educated and skilled to be employed, much better be an employer to employ more Filipinos.
Sana yumaman lahat ng uri nila (I just hope they find contentment).
On a more tangible note, give gifts that make a difference. Below is an enumeration of how you can help UNICEF with their gift-giving effort this holiday season and be champions for children.
